Football Football Football
Tuesday, August 24th, 2010As summer comes to an end and trees turn the fall colors of red, orange, and yellow a series of events that are not so peaceful also commence, football. Every Friday I wake up and access the weekend, and it goes something like this work then high school football, sleep then college football, sleep again then the professional football. There is no difference between the levels, I love it all. The cool fall breeze which chills air, translates to grabbing a warm jacket to sit in the stands cheering on the local high school team. After the game, I begin to mentally prepare myself for a long day of college games. Since I call the west coast home, there is football on from the time I wake up until the minute I go to bed. Every incredible catch, strong tackle, and huge gain increases my love for the game. As Saturday winds down I recap all the scores before I head to my bed to recover for the big show on Sunday. Something about waking up the NFL theme song invigorates the morning. Finishing up Fantasy Football I flip on my direct tv so I do not miss any of the action. Game after game I become more and more captivated then the worse part of the starts, the break between the Sunday night game and Monday Night football. Monday at work is a race to get done and home to watch the heart pounding action. I can say without football, fall would be the worse season of the year.

To me, education is not just the matter of financial livelihood and social status, but why education is needed? Whether the provided education is authentic, what the lacks or loopholes of education are and to the final stage: would education make the absorbers immortal? These are some of the questions and rhetoric that make me view education very differently from those of my peers and even my parents and lecturers.
