Parents are the primary teachers in children life. Children know many things first from parent. Parental involvement is totally needed in every child’s education. Especially when the father and mother are involved in the child’s studies, the performance of the child tends to improve greater. At first, it was very common for fathers to delegate the responsibility of teaching to mother. They reason was it was the nature that mothers are responsible for teaching the kids and mothers played a pivotal role in their upbringing. However, some researches indicate that when both the parents give equal attention to a child’s education, there is a significant progress in the child’s studies and career. Parents should be involved in every aspect in their child’s development.

Studies show that children who have parents involved in day to day education are far better than those who their parents were not involved. The result is significantly changes parents thought about education. The students have increased their mark in their academic levels. Studies also says that the difference also occur in the big family size. The notable result was that families that had low income and were big in size, the children in those families seem to gain more marks especially when the parents were involved in their studies. Furthermore, the children tend to have better manner if they are compared with those whose parents do not involve.

The relationship between school and home had to be established through parents. If parents show great interest on children lesson, the children will directly increase their interest. Also, there is more stress on schools to make parents part of the child’s studies. Children mostly take over their parent’s attitude. Also, the mother’s education plays a very important role in the child’s career. When the mother has low literacy level, even the child does not fare too well or go very far in school.
